Who operates Kumona

Information we process

We process information you provide or create while using Kumona, including account and profile information; organization or workspace details; brand information and assets; designs, templates, projects, campaign content, and uploaded images, media, or files; and communications with support. Where paid features are offered, billing and account information may be processed by us and our payment providers. Kumona does not store full payment-card details when payment processing is handled by a provider.

Connected third-party services

You may choose to connect external services, including Facebook Pages and Instagram professional or business accounts. We may add other publishing channels in the future. When you authorize a connection through a provider's official authorization flow, Kumona may receive and process the information needed to provide the feature, such as:

Facebook Page identifiers, names, and Pages you are authorized to manage;
Instagram professional account identifiers and profile information;
authorization credentials or access tokens, permissions granted, connection status, and authorization metadata; and
publishing results, including destination post or media identifiers, URLs, status, and error information.

Kumona does not ask for or store your Facebook or Instagram password. We request only permissions required for features you choose to enable. You can disconnect a channel in Kumona when that option is available, and can also revoke authorization through the provider. After disconnection or revocation, we no longer use the relevant credentials.

Why we process information

We use information to provide and secure accounts; operate workspaces, brands, and projects; create and render content; publish approved content to connected channels; maintain integrations; process user commands and requested automations; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain reliability; provide support; meet legal obligations; and improve the product using appropriate aggregated or operational data. We do not sell customer private content to advertisers.

AI-assisted functionality

Kumona offers AI-assisted creative and productivity features that users may choose to use. Prompts, content, and assets necessary to provide a selected feature may be processed by Kumona and its infrastructure or service providers. You remain responsible for reviewing generated content before publication or other use where applicable.

Social publishing

Kumona can publish content only after you connect and authorize a channel. Publishing occurs on your instruction or through a workflow or schedule you configure. Content published to a destination network is also subject to that network's terms and privacy policy. We may retain publication status, destination IDs or URLs, and error details needed to operate the service.

Legal bases for processing

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data as necessary to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving Kumona, with consent where required, and to comply with legal obligations.

We may share data with service providers that help us provide Kumona, including hosting and infrastructure, authentication and security, storage, email and communications, analytics where enabled, payment processing where applicable, and AI or processing services where enabled. We share data with social networks only when you explicitly connect and use those services. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.

International transfers

Kumona and its providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we take appropriate measures for international transfers in accordance with applicable data-protection law.

Retention and security

We retain data for as long as needed to operate your account and the service, comply with legal obligations, protect against fraud or security incidents, and support backup and recovery processes. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing of, or receive a portable copy of your personal data. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing and may contact the relevant supervisory authority. To exercise rights, email info@kasaiconnect.com.

Children

Kumona is not intended for children below the applicable minimum age. Do not use the service if you are not permitted to do so under applicable law.

We may update this policy as Kumona evolves or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the date above.
